Recorded at the dawn of 2008 in the Far West Texas Desert, under the tutelage of the unexplained “mystery lights” of Marfa, Texas. Released in 2009 on DFA Records. Album art designed by Boyd Elder and printed with a spot-gloss sierpinski triangle overlay. 10 tracks. Awarded “Best New Music” by Pitchfork.com and dubbed “a breakthrough record” by Rolling Stone Magazine.
